Skimmer going crazy

Hey everyone.

My skimmers been going crazy since last night and into this morning. It's just picking up a lot of water and it's bubbling over and blowing the lid off. I have an IM Ghost skimmer for the back of my IM Nuvo. I haven't added anything into my tank or tuned my skimmer at all, it just started randomly happening. Any thoughts on how to stop it?

Can you raise the cup of the skimmer?
Possible to adjust the flow of the pump as well?

Did you change food or maybe use some epoxy to glue a frag down in the last day or so?

Also, check to see if the air tube is block in any way.

Pretty sure this is a nano tank.
Can you tell us how many gallons?
Cause the skimmer is going nuts it has to do with your water in the tank, some how something got off balance due to a coral that might have spawned or a snail/crab died.
A 50% water change will calm it down some what
Btw, just making sure this ain't a new skimmer right?

I realized after I raised the collection cup it definitely helped a great deal. It's still bubbling more than normal though but not overflowing anymore. I think this was the problem. I did not put anything in my tank for corals and whatnot. It's a skimmer I've had since the beginning of December

Well problem solved.
When it slows down you can lower the cup again in order to pick up the skim again.

Just a question, is your water level in the back chambers all level it is there a slight drop off from the skimmer chamber to the return? The reason I ask is because when this happened to me my water level was messed up
