I need help my skimmer started overflowing today and I need help. The skimmer was doing fine until I assume last night. The skimmer has been there for several months already and I haven't changed my filter sock yet. The only thing that I've done recently was add new coral and auto top off system. I've already done a water change to try fix whatever causing it to stop but it doesn't seem like anything changed

hmm, a little confused by your situation is it overflowing or has it stopped working, also if you haven't changed your filter socks in months or even weeks that would also likely be a negative. if you added ATO and your skimmer is over flowing I would also ask (assuming yon have a sump) if you have raised the water level around your skimmer?

The skimmer is overflowing. The filter sock has been there for 2days. The ATO was set at the water lv so the water lv hasn't changed either

is your skimmer adjust able? DC pump? May be thinking to simple here but can you just turn it down?
By adjustable do you mean turning it to a dry skim or are you referring to a DC pump. I already have it set for a dry skim and I don't have a DC pump
