Is there a way to feed and not have your skimmer not skim for a few hours. My skimmer is a bit over-sized is ny first problem. But when I'm not feeding it pulls our some major stinky and chunky stuff.

Has anyone figured out how to feed AND keep your skimmer working???

You know I've actually had my skimmer do the same thing. It's only with one type of food that I use. They other types my skimmer keeps humming right along.

I would say it loses its foam head longer when feeding PE mysis. It does it w. rods food also, but not for quite as long. I'm talking 2 or 3 hours.

Yep it's pretty common actually. Same with the pe mysis.

I don't get it with hikari..... spelling??

I just ordered some of the hikari S pellets from the BRS doorbuster. $4 for food, who can beat that?!?

Oh I was taking about their mysis shrimp. [emoji494]

I use all frozen foods. No pellets.

I originally commented thinking you were using the PE frozen mysis.

I've had skimmer issues when I've used it. I don't worry about it really .

The hikari frozen has never been an issue. [emoji4]
