Skimmer height

Hi, one thing that I still haven't managed to find out since starting our tank is how high in the skimmer the bubbles are supposed to be. How do I know where to set it to?

Thanks, it's been running for over a month, but the whole time I have been trying to find out how high its supposed to be, so it's probably been doing nothing all this time.

so the best way i can explain it for water height in body (where bubbles start pushing up) should be around 1 inch to half an inch below where the cup neck and body meet, if t hat makes sense. Which skimmer are you using?

Red Sea 600, but I don't really know quite which parts you're referring to. The link has helped a lot though.
