Skimmer heigth

I need to raise my skimmer a couple inches in my sump...what can I use do do that that won't deteriorate or cause problems later on?

Egg crate or pvc elbows, or BRS sells protein skimmer stands if u wanna go easy route

Or a flat piece of live rock, scrape it outside on the road/sidewalk get a nice flat edge

I use a 8" plexi disc with plexi bar for feet. I have this on my 9410dc and my 9430dc Tunze skimmers.

I was thinking of using 1 or 2 marine pure biofilter plates (8x8x1 or 4 inch)
