Skimmer help!

I looked to see if there was a thread on bubble Magnus 5 where bubbles not reaching neck and could not find anything. Water in sump 10" , cleaned it Thursday but bubbles not reaching neck.

How deep is the skimmer sitting in the sump? Have you tried to adjust the discharge? How old is the skimmer? If new, it will take a little time before it starts working. I used to run new skimmers in a bucket of vinegar/water overnight to help shorten the break in period. How old is your system?

Yup how old is the pump?
My pump had a problem with cavitation a real pain to get running properly

The skimmer is a month old and my tank is 18 years.
