Skimmer help

ok so I kinda have another thread on this. But it was asking which I should choose. New skimmer or new pump.
I went with new pump and had to modify to work. I want to know if this looks normal when using a new pump.
It makes allot of bubbles but looks a little strange.

Oh and it's a reef octopus Int 200 now equiped with a psk1000

Ok so after a few hours this is how it is running with gate valve full open
Still need to know what you all think

Looks like it's skimming a little wet, you could possibly raise the skimmer so the output is above the water level. This should help with adjustability.

thank you for the reply. I have been waiting all day for some too lol. This is my first skimmer mod and had to ruin my old pump to make this one work. So if it dose not work I am skimmer less. will rotating pump inlet towered surface help?

Don't think it will, just cut some PVC pipe and make a simple stand to raise it about 2".
