Just got a new protein skimmer, and the pump is pumping to much water in to the skimmer. So when I adjust it down the water that goes into my sump is full of air bubbles and then they are getting pumped into my tank. What do I do to help this???

most skimmers need a break in period and micro bubbles can be a pain till it breaks in. What kind of skimmer are you using and do you have a bubble trap in your sump?

Thats a good skimmer it should clear up in a day or 3. They dont take long to break in. Do you have a bubble trap in the sump? If not you can try using filter floss in the baffles to the return pump to prevent the bubbles from making it to the return pump.

Man no better today hope this clears up in the next few days.

Do you have any pics of the skimmer in action. So we can see if anything is off about how its setup

Agree that some photos will help. It took 3 weeks for my latest skimmer to break in, i have seen some reefers run their skimmers in a vinegar bath to speed up the break in period.

Patience is the key on this one, My Nac 9 took two weeks to day to break in. Once it gets there it should be smooth sailing.

How many baffles are in your sump? Which portion is your skimmer in? I am surprised the bubbles are making it into the display...
