SKimmer help

So last night I turn my skimmer back on after it being off for ich treatment. Well now the skimmer is going haywire and I can't get it to stop overflowing. I aligned the dots and tried shifting it left and right little by little but nothing. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. It's an E-shopps psk75 hob

Its most likely trying to take the medication out of the water i would leave it open (align the dots) and just give it time to calm down.

I thought about that but its draining so much water
