skimmer id please

I have gotten this skimmer it says SWC on the cup lid and is 8inch in diam 30 inch high and aprox 24 long the pump on it says octopus and i think the model says 3000 i was wondering if anyone had any information on this skimmer i am not sure what pump to use to feed it water and the outlet after the ball valve is missing parts and i am not sure that is affecting its operation . also i cannot get it to skim wet no matter how high in the skimmer the water is i just get thick paste on the cup neck any help is apreciated

its a SWC reef octopus 200 I used to own one like that.

any idea what pump i should use to supply water to it i have a quiteone 1200 and a quietone 4000 would either of those work. also what depth should i run it at , and after the ball valve it is missing parts do you think that would affect its opperation ? any idea where i might find the parts thatare missing i know its an old skimmer i been trying to google it and come up with very litte

well it supposed to have the octopus 2000 pump on it.

it does have the pump to to stir up the water inside its an octopus pump but that pump does not supply water to the skimmer body , last time i buy something used and old
