Skimmer ideas for im 25 lagoon

Icecap k1 nano 100.79$ Amazon
Eshopps nano skimmer 139.09 Amazon
Anyone have any other ideas? Ones that fit? I'm working with 2.8"x litte over 4"

maybe aquamaxx nano skimmer but the skimmer is mostly adding oxygen to the system on that small of a size and nutrient control is mostly you with water change, carbon, etc, so i dont think skimmer choice is really a huge deal. I would probably go with the icecap one though for the price and it being shaped like a traditional skimmer. Not sure if the icecap will fit as i think you need the mount which makes it 3.5"x 4" https://www.coralvue.com/icecap-k1-nano-protein-skimmer

@Pico bam how do you like the K1 nano skimmer so far? I read in another thread that you were having trouble with micro bubbles. I am considering one for my IM25 lagoon.

Still sends out crazy micro bubbles I might have just gotten a bad skimmer but hard to tell. It was also very loud so I just put a longer air tube on it. Id go with the nano size skimmer eshopps makes. good luck! Lmk if you find something decent that you like.

I use the Eshops in my IM 25 and it’s been great. Pulls good skimmate, fits easily in second chamber and no issues. It’s a bit ugly looking but that’s the only real downside.
