skimmer in QT

Hi,

I am having one down rated skimmer which i am not going to use for my main DT. Is it ok if I can use it for my QT tank which i am going to set.

You don't need a skimmer in the QT. You can use it, but some meds will cause the skimmer to go crazy more often than not.

noted and I will avoid it better also to save some electricity lol......
I will be setting up my QT in this weekend.
