Skimmer issue

I have a reef octopus skimmer. Noticed this morning I dont have any bubbles or anything in the collection cup. Anyone have any sources to help trouble shoot this? I just cant find anything that explains how to fix it when I was searching

To be honest this is my first skimmer. Im not really sure how to tell if that did change or how to tell if the pump is working, I was hoping someone had a video or something that I could look at and compare to mine to see what the issue was. I also cant get it up and out of my sump at the moment either. And I dont dose anything to the take at all

Check the air line and where it attaches to the pump (venturi). Its probably clogged or sucking water.

Sounds like the airline came off or is plugged… do you have a picture of it in operation?

Yes, I pulled the cup Sunday to clean and put it back and just noticed theres nothing in there.

No I dont, its in a really weird place in the sump, hard to get a picture of

As long as there is water flowing (pump is running), there is likely an airline issue. Like the airline is under water or disconnected. Or the hole where the airline attaches is clogged. Mine gets clogged with carbonate.

Is the water clear inside the body or white with bubbles and just not reaching up the neck?
