Hey yall,
My skimmer started acting up a few weeks ago after I put sand in the tank. I went to sleep and the next morning it was overflowing and making a grinding mechanical noise. I figured it was overflowing from the new sand and the sound was from sand getting in the pump. I preceded to take apart the skimmer and vinegar bath the pump. After reassempbling its still making noise. Any thoughts on what I can do to stop this? The skimmer is a SKIMZ E-SERIES SM121 PROTEIN SKIMMER
