skimmer not making skimmate

My bubble-magus NAC 7 (old-I got it used with the tank in 2018) is not producing skim mate. I took it apart yesterday. Again today. Pump is working very well, but not skimming. Do I give it time to see if it comes back? I'm super frustrated as the tank for the first time is doing very well nutrient wise and with some new corals, I don't want things to go sour!!

I only need the skimmer to last 6 weeks, as I'll have a new tank. I have the RS 900 but not sure that huge footprint will fit in my sump!

What can/should I do? I do not want to buy a new one. Not at this point. Can the tank survive without a skimmer? The image looks like skim mate but is just clear water roiling around.

good call thou I do not know what is plugged. I removed the airline from the top pipe part and it foamed right up. Hose is clear. So problem is in the top cap somewhere. For now I'll leave the air line off. Put a zip tie down the tube to block some air. Have it on max to keep it from just filling and overflowing right now. That top part doesn't appear to come off or not easily.
