Skimmer not working anyone no what's wrong?

This is a HYDOR Performer Hi-tech skimmer. It looks like a recirculating skimmer.

It should work well, your tank is new. It may need to be adjusted, but could be other things

The skimmer is what you make it. Everyone is going to have an opinion about it. If its pulling out dark dark stuff, then its doing its job.
