Nice... for how much Ga of H2O that boy can move? Im thinking in purchasing one but dont knoe which yet. My 1st Tank will be a 55ga, Not sure if a 20 or 30 Ga SUmp DIY style.... ANy recomendation?

Im thinking of swoping it for the 180 i havent used mine yet cause the 180 does a 1000 litre tank on light load and 500 heavy so double mine.same look but just bigger.

How tall is it without the legs? I've been getting some contradicting info. And what water height without the legs?

I just mesaured is 42 without the legs the legs are 10cm more. And i read ur build thread and instead of people saying oh that looks nice they have to say stuff like its fake well it aint its good qaulity much better then a bubble magnus tjats for sure. And its the same logo as reef octopus australia site so dont worry about what the yankys say about it lol its real as the come and yes they do have this colour range in there nano sizes and im assuming this is a nano since its a 120 . So coulour is good logo is good and yes skimmer is good lol geez

Hahaha I'm not sure what's going on.
So it sounds like a quality skimmer then! Thanks for helping to crush that bit of skepticism. If it's dimensions are right, I'll definitely grab one!

Sorry to inform everyone but that Simo skimmer is not a Reef Octopus protein skimmer and was never made by the Reef Octopus Factory. Besides the color you can see nothing on this skimmer resembles a Reef Octopus skimmer including the pump. Reef Octopus makes their own skimmer pumps and no longer uses third party pumps.

Its actually pulled really brown muk the second day but now im just letting it run for a bit before i stary tweaking it. There's about 3 or 4 shops selling these to i found out. Paypal havent got back to me yet either to say if its real
