skimmer opinions

Have a reefer 170, currently using a red octopus 110ss skimmer after several months I cannot get it to dial in, skims to wet or not at all.I hate it, looking for a better skimmer, asking for ideas. Would prefer $300.00 or less

BRS is having some sweet deals right now on skimmers. I know there are a lot out there, but my vote has to go to the Skimz line. I have the 165I and I love it. Easy to tune, we'll built, and started producing almost immediately. Lol I did get a little overzealous and turned it up despite the suggestion not to which resulted in it going crazy once it broke in. All is good now though and it's running like a champ.
