The way my sump is configured i can use the middle chamber either as a fuge with chaeto or a skimmer chamber.
Or possibly i can fit the skimmer and a super small fuge about 1G with some creative egg crate engineering.
I've been running skimmerless for a while now, recently moved the chaeto to the sock chamber and skimmer to the middle chamber to help raise pH.
I currently don't have any nutrient export issues, just looking for opinions/spark debate.
*edit* there is no room under the stand to add any more water volume, pretty much stuck with what i have, And no, drilling holes in the floor for a basement sump is not an option. (although i wish it was)
