I'm about to get a 25lagoon. It has a ghost skimmer with it.

Would you recommend it or a different one? Or go no skimmer at all?

Tank will have like 3 fish in it. 2 shrimp and a few hermit crabs.

Will be mostly LPS coral.

I was an old school adopter of the skimmerless DSB method back in the day and I did enjoy the setup but from running a system with a nicely powered skimmer now, I don’t think I’d ever go back especially with the wide variety of corals I like to keep in my mixed reef. I think some skimming is better than none so use what ya got and see how it goes.

I like my HOB skimmer, I move it from tank to tank when needed. LPS still build stone, so I would skim and add 2 part.

I say if it already comes with the ghost skimmer, use it. if you find you cant tune it to your liking or tolerate the noise levels, replace it with something different. There are many options for AIO's
