Skimmer Overflow

I added a few frags bags into my sump and my skimmer with at least 2 weeks collection spilled out into the sump.....

It was dark but not super dark.

I always clean it every week but of course the first time I don’t this happens.

What can happen and what should I do? I’m making saltwater now for a change. I should be able to change it tonight.

I have a 120G sps and lps.

My nitrates were 5 and pho 0. So least they were down. I also just added carbon.

Water change and just make sure the skimmer is running in order to catch the protein the fall and is cycling around the tank/sump. You should be okay afterwards.

Thanks. The skimmer is going cray right now. Even after i dial it down. Time will tell

Just following in , everything my tank is fine I did a water change there was no spike in nitrates or phosphates everything still looks healthy .
