Skimmer overflowed during water change

hey everyone, I was doing a water change and forgot to turn off my skimmer. By the time I realized it it was overflowing. Should I be worried about introducing the skim back in my tank? It was about 2 days worth of medium wet skim. Thanks!

That just happened to me with 2 weeks of skim. I have a 120g I did a water change and everything was fine.

With only 2 days I would say you will be just fine no worries at all! Keep skimming

I agree, 2 days, no worries. I am not sure how much skimate you removed. Possibly check your salinity if it was several gallons.

If I had a nickel for everytime my skimmer overflowed in a year I'd have about a quarter, no worries.

It will add nutrients back into your system for the corals, cuc and sponges to eat

I second what @lapin stated. I've done it numerous times over the years.

You have no worries. Ito have done it a dozen or so times. Getting a hurry during water changes
