Skimmer overflowing like crazy?

My skimmer is 6 weeks old. It was working great till yesterday i put a brand new sock and my nyos 120 didnt stop overflowing. Its been more than 8 hours and still the same. Its overflowing like insane.. its off now. What should i do?

Wonder if there was something on the sock? You said brand new so maybe it had something chemical on it? May be worth running the skimmer and just letting it over flow into the sump and see if it settles down.

Raise it or choke down the air supply until it settles down

the sock caused it. rinse the sock in RO water before putting in the sump or turn the skimmer off for about 10 minutes when putting new socks in

Use Charcoal for 72 hours.
