Skimmer Premature Bubble Popping?

I've read the skimmer will no longer produce a foam head when all of the detritus is removed from the water, I'm assuming thats what happened with mine. I just got it to start pulling skimmate a week ago and today there is no foam head, just bubbles popping before the neck of the body. It's a BM Curve 9. All I have in the tank is a clownfish a marbled catshark and a coral catshark, both pups.

Many factors can contribute to the bubble and foams of skimmer.
oil based additives.
GFO. Some gfo will reduce skimmer performance.
Head pressure in the pump
Air intake to water intake ratio
Skimmer inner surface conditio..
..etc.
I doubt your water is so pristine it no longer hold dissolved organic
If nothing changed in your system compared to when skimmer was pulling good foam i would leave it and wait. Some times if you feed or add additives that have some oil based material foam will go down for some time. But it should start foaming later.

I hadnt put my hand or any other oils in the tank. I did make a hairline adjustment to the skimmer though about an hour before hand.

So your skimmer is fizzing? you could try to run some carbon, it is your water not skimmer, it should relax after a while and go back to normal.
