So my skimmer pump is done I see tons of different pumps on the market I would like to keep the pump price around 50. Problem is I go to fish store theres no pump has same feed pipe same size as mine then they don't have venturi tubes .I do not want to modify but if it comes down to it I will.. trying to stay away from tinkering with stuff rt now .any one have suggestions for pump ,are the Grey pvc only millimeters measurement? Any help would be greatly appreciated

What kind of brand skimmer it is?
Sometimes you have to stick with the same brand to make a perfect match.

It's a aqua euro usa terminator 2 skimmer I think the pump is the same 580gph

Your best bet is to contact the manufacture to order yourself a replacement pump.

That's why I like Lifereef skimmers, you just install any kind of pump you like on there.
As of now I have a Vectra m1 on both of my lifereef skimmers.
But if I want to I can do a Sicci or danner mag, even ATB or red dragon will work on that.

Thanks I'm keep the life reef in mind .I like u say u can switch multiple pumps to use makes things a bit easier for a person thanks much!

All I know is I ve been without a skimmer for at least a month.and some of my corals are not happy I tried to make a upflow scrubber but it ain't doing much so it's probably not big enough .I bought a skimmer last wk on here and guy said he dropped it yesterday so he refunded me.il probably just clean up this one and sell it without pump.I have another skimmer but someone said it's too big for my tank.I was stocking to build bigger system figured mite be able to use it on my 75 until I had all stuff for big tank.

This hobby can have some weird turns.
Just do like two water changes per week as I suspect a high nutrient level if you without a skimmer for a month.
Or just buy a new skimmer, you can have a BM new for your tank close to $200 that is nothing compared you're about to start losing your corals.

Good luck my friend.

If u was in my position how much water would u change a wk ?I think I'm around 80 gallons without rock and equipment I think ... I did find a reef octupus on here today for 150 plus shipping so was thinking that il just buy it

Would no skimmer cause some sps to stop growing. .. a few of my sps ain't doing nothing and a few are growing fine

Reef octopus skimmers are great skimmers.
I would do twice a week a 5 gallon WC, in that case you don't mess around too much with parameters and if you make it easy on yourself more often you will do it.

Thanks I wanted to try this skimmer out but I guess it's too big for 75
