Skimmer Pump Recommendation

The pump on my Reef Octo 110 EXT kicked the bucket. Water getting in electrical side, tripping GFCI. Tried sealing it up with silicone, worked for a while, but bumped it last night and tripped GFCI again, not going to try and band-aid it anymore, so looking for a new pump.
The bubble blaster 1000 is supposedly a direct replacement, but it sure is pricey.
Anything decent in the sub $100 range?
This is the recirculating EXT model.

Thanks for the suggestion. My skimmer is the older model with the OTP-1000 pump. I have that aquatrance pump on another skimmer and in my opinion it is an under-performer and pretty loud.

Does anyone have experience with the Sicce PSK 600 or 1000? can those be made to work in a recirculating application?

That would definitely be the ideal setup, but trying to stay on a budget haha.
Leaning towards the Sicce PSK 600 or SK 600. Just need to verify I can make them work in a recirculating configuration.
