Skimmer question

I have an eshopps skimmer for my 65. For about two weeks it has been producing a lot of foam, the same consistency just a lot. The cup full within an hour or so and all the skimmate goes back into my tank. What might cause this? I have changed anything with the tank.

Break in period of the skimmer. Should start to settle down some.

Make sure the air intake is very clean, from the very top all the way to the Venturi, even a little salt or whatever will make it go crazy.

Maybe try raising it a bit if it's in too much water deapth. I'm assuming the adjustment knob is on the lower water level?

I checked the airline, down to the venturi and did not see any blocks, but I clean the line for the heck of it with RO water. The skimmer has been setting in 7 inches of water, which is the company's recommendation. I have the water level adjusted as low as it will go, I had to adjust it when the skimmer started going crazy. So i will give it a few days to see if the air line was just dirty and go from there. If this posts twice, please disregard the the double post.
