Can't see what pump isbeing used on the Bashsea, and I can't see the pump being used on the other Skimmer. Would be best to know what your running first.

I thought canister filter with hose is the collection chamber of the skimmer, so they are separate ?

Yea, the one on the left is a Bashsea Collector. Not a Skimmer
The one on the right kinda looks like a Terminator Skimmer, but I'm not sure about that, or what type it is.

is $40 reasonable price for it? i already have a reef octopus bh 100 and ive been reading that it overflows a lot, im thinking of ditching the reef octopus and getting the typhoon protein skimmer with the bashea collection jug :-)
im not sure if thats a good idea :-(

I'd stick with the Ref Octopus over the Typhoon. imo
