Skimmer question

I have a Reef Octopus 150 ss skimmer. I used it is my last tank with a different sump with great success. I now have a trigger sapphire 24 and can't get the thing dialed in. I have tried raising it to no avail.
It just keeps filling with water. Maybe raise it a little higher?

I think the operating level of water is between 6-9” if I remember right
