Would a Reef Octopus xp1000sss be too big of a skimmer for a system that consists of a 40 breeder and 15 tall tied into a 25 gallon eshops sump? I am considering upgrading the 15 tall to a 30 long, with the 15 tall as a seahorse tank, with a custom 20 gallon sump under the 40 and the eshops under the 30 in the near future. Both tanks are currently mixed reefs, with the 40 being sps and clam dominant, and the 15 lps dominant. This might be a little confusing, so clarification can be provided upon request.

Supposedly its easier to control as well but you may have to modify the outflow pipe and make sure its sitting in 5.5 to 6 inches of water. Nice skimmers either way from what I hear.
