Skimmer recommendation - 850L Tank

Hi

In the process of upgrading to a new 6ft x 2ft x 2.5ft which will roughly be around 850 litres (190 gallon).

looking for you recommendations for a new skimmer. Was thinking of the new Red Sea RSK 600.

I have never run RS, but both they and the Reef Octopus seem to have solid reputations. If you want a real deal, go for a Bubble King . They are great but crazy expensive.

Bubble King. If you are going for a massive tank I am guessing you have a decent budget. The only thing I regret about getting mine is that I didn't do it 10 years earlier....

The RSK600 is a solid skimmer and has a dependable Sicce PSK pump. However, you may want to consider a skimmer with a DC pump which typically gives you more control and is quieter. For example, you may want to take a look at the Reef Octopus Regal line of skimmers

I don’t like how difficult it is to remove the cup on the Red Sea skimmers. I’d look at aquamaxx or Tunze
