Hi guys I’m setting up a Waterbox 15g mini
peninsula and I’m looking for a good nano skimmer that I can fit into the middle chamber. Right now I have my heater in that chamber but maybe I can move it over to the return section. I’ve heard good things about the IM ghost nano skimmer and the icecap. Some help would be much appreciated. I don’t have the space behind the tank for a HOB.

I've heard good reviews about the IceCap K1-Nano. The length and width are 2.7in by 3.2in for space, and is rated for 10 to 30 gallon tanks.
Thanks have you used that skimmer I’ve been hearing good thing about it as well

Yeah I’m going to need a skimmer. Tank is going to have a large bioload and I like to feed heavy haha

I’m leaning toward the icecap. But what about that IM skimmer anyone using it?

I tried a IM BioSkim DC nano AIO skimmer and it was a joke on a BioCube 32. I fed a little heavy with frozen food every day and some flakes for corals and eight smaller sized fish with the diamond back being the largest. I wanted a better skimmer and light so ended up going with the Aquamaxx 1.5 hob which worked very well and was very happy with the performance. I know you said you didn't have room for a hob. I'd go with the IceCap over the IM. I don't believe there is any type of real adjustment on the IM's besides sliding the collection cup up and down. The Ghost does have a tiny air valve like on a air pump. The IceCap K1 nano has the adjustment knob and seems more well built and with better performance reviews. IceCap makes pretty good products.

That was really helpful I think I’m going to get the icecap K1 thanks!
