Skimmer recommendations 40 Nuvo

Newbie would like your help choosing a Proten skimmer IM 40 Nuvo 3.75" x 3.13" x 14.44" skimmer size for AOI sump area needed ?

welcome aboard the r2r board! if it fits in your sump you can try a reef octo classic 110-sss. i use it in my sump for my 40g breeder. if you’re only using the AIO space, i figure the smaller ice cap or even tunze skimmers could work

Nano tank don't really need skimmers as long as you do 4 gallons water changes weekly or biweekly

Welcome! I have the same tank, check my build thread if you're invested in using an EXT. Ive tried two* skimmers on this tank before settling on EXT.

I have the 9004 on mine that i'm currently breaking in. It works great, but you lose one chamber. It was worth it to me but to some, it isn't
