Just recently impulse bought a Waterbox 220.6 and I had not put much thought into the equipment list. I have a Red Sea RSK600 in my current tank (which I'll be breaking down) but I don't think that's going to cut it with a heavy bioload on the 220.

I have the exact tank. I use a Simplicity 320dc skimmer.

Can only speak from experience and I love my reef octo skimmer

I was running a Bubble Magus curve 9 and it was a beast. It was my favorite I had used and still is over my current skimmer.

my tank is a 220. I use a aquamaxx cone SQ-3. very quiet and nice design imo.
Also very affordable.

That one will dent the wallet almost as much as the tank did!
Yeah, not cheap- buy once and cry once in this hobby. I was always happy with my reef octo int for lower priced option, break in felt like it took forever though

i have a 220waterbox, using a deltec 1500i, best skimmer ive ever owned. it has a patented design that never overflows, worth every penny
