I just got this nyos quantumn 120 skimmer a while ago. 3 days ago i decided to use it. Opened the air intake all the way up. And opened the screw adjustement all the way up too. Turned it on removed the cup and let it overflow. And thats the current situation for it.

Do i just wait few more days? Or what exactly i should be doing?

I don't see anything wrong with that. You may get a lot of bubbles in the tank, though. I personally break in a skimmer with no air running, but you will get the same results.

There are residues from manufacturing that are being removed from the surface of the skimmer, from what I understand. The break-in process can be sped up by wiping and rinsing the skimmer first with tap water and a wash cloth.

Yes the bubbles are not really bothering me or affecting anything. Its just my first saltwater tank and skimmer in general and i just wasnt sure what to wait for? Like one day it will stop overflowing?

I wouldn’t overflow it, just set the foam head to just below the collection cup and see what happens. Then adjust the water height as necessary.

It probably won't stop if it is turned all the way up. To properly tune it, turn the air off, set the level to just under the collection cup, then slowly dial the air up until it bubbles, but doesn't immediately fill the cup. You can adjust the level again after the air is turned up. If you have a dc skimmer, you can adjust pump speed for water height as well.
Here is a link to a BRS vid...

Have the same skimmer and just left the foam height low for about 10 days. Since it broke in have never needed to use the sponge micro bubble trap that came with the sump.

Its still overflowing. And its been like what 3 days now?. I put the cup the cups fills with water immediatly. I dont understand

Open the gate to reduce the water level in the skimmer. There’s gotta be an ejits guide on YouTube somewhere.

Shoukd i raise it more than 7.9 inches? Heres the video

Start at 2:20 and play close attention to all three of the details.
