My skimmer chamber in sump is 11x11.75. I like the reef octopus NW 150 which has a length of 12.6. Does anyone know if this skimmer would fit into that chamber angled?

If I am to understand your request, you wish to angle your Reef Octopus? Skimmers cannot be angled. They must be level to work properly.

Not exactly. Th skimmer footprint is not a perfect rectangle. The length will not fit in the sump chamber perpendicular since it is about an 1" too long but if you rotate the skimmer so it sits angled in chamber. The angle would be horizontal not vertical.

Even if the body of the skimmer fits, you need to take into consideration the water intake and outlet for proper operation. If you have either one of these snugged right up to the glass, it may not operate correctly.

Make a mock up of those dimensions and test it. That's the only way to know if it will work.

It was easy to find out some skimmers that were basically mounted onto an acrylic base of the rectangular footprint. Like an older eshopps, would not fit. But some that are dimensioned to the most extreme points are not mounted to a base. I will have to see if i can find pump size.
