I made a stand out of 1’‘ pvc, zip ties and some eggcrate

I made mine out of just zip ties and eggcrate.

PVC pipe, live rock, or anything fish/reef safe.

What they said. Measure the thickness of the eggcrate and then go to he/Lowes and get some pvc or whatever diameter will get you closest to 1”. I’m guess 1/2” cpvc on its side plus the egg rate will work well

Same issue. I need a stand less than three inches. This ones minimum is over 3.

OP. What solution did you ultimately go with?

Egg crate is simple. You can stack one piece on top the other and zip tie them together. I did like 4 pieces in my nano for correct height. Only one piece to get the right height in my 120. It was actually 6 pieces as I still had it. Heres a pic.

Went to Home Depot and bought egg crate and a number of plumbing pieces. Very easy and has worked amazing.

I know you already have a solution but I used the following, you can lay them flat or stack them. And they add more filtration to you tank.

I ordered some egg crate cause my local Home Depot doesn’t carry it. Should be here today.
