What the best skimmer money can buy?.. Just wanna throw it out there.. It's for approx. 60-80 gallon set up.. Going barebottom sps tank, so I need Beast that come in small size.. Smaller footprint the better.. Thanks..

Ha..ha.. I'm about to say.. I am almost pull the trigger till I read the cost of the replacement pump.. I heard nothing but good things about this skimmer.. anybody Have any exp. With their pump?

Atb 840 would be fine also... Even the new Warner marine would do ya just fine... There is tons of great skimmers out there... Higher price tag doesn't always mean better fwiw... I could tell ya right now the most exspensive skimmer out is far from the best....

Nothing compares. The pump on this skimmer has a built in shutdown circuit in case impeller gets jammed or carbonates build up. If you take care of the pump, you'll never have to replace the whole pump. After a few years I would replace the impeller and bearing. I've seen this model in action, very small footprint. The only drawback is getting to the pump for cleaning which can be a pain. But I guess that's the price for the small footprint.
