Skimmer suggestion!

Im in the planning stages and would like to hear from others on what would be a good skimmer for a red sea reefer 525xl. Seems like the Nyos 160 is a popular choice.

I really like the nyos for sure...it's just pricey compared to some of the reef octopus skimmers....worth every dollar imo...

Nyos gets my vote as well. Super quiet and well built. Worth every penny IMO.

Thank you you both! While the Nyos is nice I've always been a fan of Reef Octopus and all I've used in the past. Their AC driven pumps are a bit loud but their DC pumps are dead silent. I previously had the Regal 300 and you could not hear it other than the air being sucked in. I have narrowed it down to these three:

Elite 150int
Elite 150sss
BK Double Cone 180 w/ RD3 Speedy 50w.
