Hi all,

I currently have a reef glass nano protein skimmer in my FijiCube AIO, but it’s just barely enough. I’d like to upgrade, but can’t find much that’ll fit due to space constraints.

I have about 2.75” W x 5.5” L to work with. The “best” option I’ve found so far was the eshopps nano. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Oh, and the IceCap K1. Anyone know if that’s a decent skimmer?

So what did you end up getting? = )

I ended up with an ESHOPPS PSK-100H, and it’s been phenomenal. Pulls skimmate like a beast. Might be a little overkill, but my tank is somewhat heavily stocked.

Did you happen to look at the tunze 9004 when you were looking? Do you have any pictures of your skimmer setup?

I did, but the Eshopps is more powerful, and more of a “traditional” skimmer, which appealed to me. I don’t have any pics, but it’s pretty straightforward. Intake and output in tank, everything else hanging off the back.

I also have an Auto AquaSmart Skimmer Security sensor on it to prevent overflows, and a recirculating CO2 scrubber. I like gadgets
