Hello,

I am in the process of putting together a 90 gallon aquarium which is going to be housing some LPS and SPS coral along with
some fish and a clean up crew. I am new to plumbing an aquarium with a sump. I thought it would be best to go with a shorter
stand in order to clean the tank easier but what a mistake I made. My stand is only 23" high and with the sump I purchased, using a
Aqueon 30 gallon aquarium which is 16-3/4" high, it only gives me 6" to get my skimmer out when I need to clean it. I was thinking
of going with a Reef Octopus NWB 150 but I am not sure how much room I will need to get the collection cup off.

I surely would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions on a skimmer I can go with. I am trying to stay within my budget of around
$250 since I need the return pump, lights, et cetera.

Thanks,

Glenn

I have a Bubble Magus Curve 5. Put a half dozen names in a hat and pick one. I've read discussions where folk love them and here in one recent talk not so much. Mine is sensitive to water level, is active at times then nothing.

The only electrical component on my BM C5 is the pump and it carry's no warranty . Address to send registration card to is no good. Called phone # on web site and no answer during business hours. Heads up folks.

I've had a lot over the yrs my favorite been asm and aquamaxx co-1 and the reef octopus with the bubble blaster pumps just cause of the warranty the pump comes with and preforms great
