Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this hobby, In my sump one side I have light for algae growth and the socks etc and then middle the sponge and then the pump area. Issue I'm having is I put a new skimmer inside the sump by the pump area but those tiny bubbles are getting inside to the tank. I then moved it to the other side were the algae growing area is but then I can't have my light on.
Skimmer is a Simplicity 240DC
ANY ADVISE?? THANK YOU!!

You want the skimmer in the middle section of your sump, it will take some time but the micro bubbles should subside once your skimmer is broken in.. do you have a picture of your sump and skimmer?

I have had this skimmer for about a year. It works great. However it has not stopped making micro bubbles. Skimmer should be 7 to 9 inches under water.
The higher up it is the lower the water flow thru rate with greater air pull. I have a sponge in my bubble trap that keeps the bubbles in sump.

I think it moves too much water thru it for the body size. I have had mine higher and lower and the bubbles lessen but do not stop. You can try a sponge on the skimmer outlet?
How high is the flow rate thru your sump? If I go more than 4x turnover it pulls bubbles right thru sponge/bubble trap.

I'm trying to upload a picture of it but it won't let me. Maybe to an email?

I turned it off for now till I figure it out. I've had it for about 1 week as of now
