Skimmer understanding

I recently bought a 94 gallon reef aquarium from a woman a friend knew. Long story short, the tank is set up, everyone is doing fine, but I'm worried my skimmer (which the woman had for quite a few years from what I understand) is not working correctly. I can't figure out what skimmer it is, nor how to adjust it to optimal function. I've attached a picture to this post. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give us a picture of the top of the collection cup? Does it have a symbol on it like this?

Yep, that's totally what it is!!

Does it seem to you guys like it's working correctly? I'm new to saltwater and didn't realize how finicky skimmers could be

If it doesn't seem to be working as well as it could/should, could someone advise as to how I would go about fixing it ?
