Novice Aquarist here and new to R2R. Getting back into the hobby after an unsuccessful first try. Among many other questions, I have one on skimmers. I have a older Eshopps PSK-100 for my 75g FOWLR tank. It has the old Atman pump that is no longer good for anything other than being an oversized air stone, but skims nothing. I was considering just replacing the pump with the Sicce SE-200 as the rest of the skimmer is in good shape. Had also considered getting the Eshopps Axium-120. My question is, is the Axium going to be much better than my older setup with the Sicce or should I just save the extra $150 and upgrade the pump only?
