Skimmer usage?

Another post got me thinking... Do you run your skimmer all day? Turn off only after feeding or Waterchange? or for a certain time period?

Good point! Consider the feeding option as the same selection

Basically a temporary shutdown. Can a mod make the minor adjustment to the poll please?

i used to have mine turn on and off, but it seemed to take its toll on the pump. now i just run it 24/7 and only turn it off during WC's

i skimmer run from 8am-10am, 12pm-2pm, 8pm-12am.

i use to run it 24/7 with a asm g6 with 2 g5000 pump and a rec g500, but that's too over skimmingand most of the time it dont pull anything. so i start to cut it down to every other hour. and now i just keep it like this. i'm just trying to save some money on electric bill.
