That's a pretty good price :) About what mine cost me to DIY, but I am in AUS so everything is way more expensive. If I was to make mine in the US it probably would have set me back less than $100 without a pump lol.

I'm not sure what you mean by 4 screen do you mean a 4 cube screen? (So a 48 square inch screen) if so sounds good!

I struggled to grow aglae on my turf scrubber after carbon dosing, I have a skimmer, carbon doser and a DIY nitrate reactor. Im slowly reducing my nopox dosage now my diy nitrate reactor is producing 0ppm nitrates and since i started it all my scrubber hardly grows algae due to the low nutrients as a result I switched it off. If I ever need to in the future I will start it up again.

I love those budget builds. They work well and are so cheap it would be silly not to have one haha.

I went a bit further and built an acrylic box (never done anything like it before) but quite happy with how it turned out!
agreeded

I built an acrylic box for mine too, I had the acrylic cut on line and I just drilled and glued it

I'm lazy and bought a Turbo Aquatics ATS. To me well worth it. Makes maintenance easy and no light spillage. Everything I needed in one.
