Hi - Over the past week the liquid in my skimmer has changed from the typical brown to a pinkish color. The only change that I can think of is using about a gallon of salt water that was leftover from a water change that I performed about 3 weeks ago to replace the same amount I pulled out when bagging up some frags to take to lfs. Everything else in the tank is normal.

Could this be the issue? something else?

Thank you

Wow I've never heard of or seen that before. Do you have cyano bacteria it could be removing?

Do you dose any potassium, or use any red type of pellet/flake foods?

You guys are killing me lol ;) Negative on dosing the tank with anything outside of the normal kalk drip.

Any new editions lately frag plugs or coral?
No additions. Been fragging and removing some stuff as my corals are growing like crazy. That's what is so frustrating as I have changed nothing other than using that gallon of water that was mixed 3 weeks ago.
