Hello, I have an eshopps hob skimmer that worked great for a while, many months in fact, but now runs out of control no matter what. The bubbles fill up the cup and overflow in a matter of minutes. Above is a picture of a piece that has come dislodged, it is the clear 1/4 circle inside the chamber, just above where the intake tube enters. It fell out when I was rinsing the skinner out, did not seem to be attached, but just resting there. The manual doesn't include the piece in their diagrams, and the company has not responded to my email.

Perhaps the absence of this piece is the whole problem? Can't seem to get the piece back in place, but if you all think it's absence is the problem, I will keeps trying! Of course I'm past the warranty! Assuming it's important, any thoughts on how to get it back in place?

That's a tough one. If it's a vital component to the skimmers operation I'd think that eshopps would do their best to help you out. Since the skimmer hasn't ran the same since the part got dislodged it sounds like that's your issue. I'd continue trying to get in contact with eshopps and trying to get that part back in place.
