Skimmer when cycling

Not a new person to the hobby, but it has been years since I've sexy led a tank!

Does everyone run the skimmer still when cycling?

yes, gets all the death from the lr. or all the funky stuff off the dead rock

I've always ran mine during cycles. If it's a dry skimmer you're putting in it'll take a bit for the slime to develop and skimmer is more productive for when you start adding livestock.
