Hey everyone. Was wondering if I could get some help with my skimmer. I have a new tunze comline 9001 skimmer.
Just recently upgraded to a waterbox 25 peninsula. Transferred all my rock and livestock into the new tank. I re-aquascaped all the rock and used reef epoxy. My skimmer won’t stop overflowing. I thought it was due to the epoxy so for the last two days I’ve been letting it run and dumping it in hopes that it would skim out whatever was making it freak out. I’ve been replacing the saltwater that I’ve been dumping to compensate. I’ve moved it up and down to see if it would have any effect. I thought 4-6 hours of letting it run would work but it’s been two days now.
Could it be the epoxy I used? Possibly All the new saltwater I mixed and used for the tank? Or something else. Just seems weird that it’s been 2 days of this (not straight through). Thanks!
